My Story

Hi there, I’m Stella, a data and analytics leader who builds organizations where data meaningfully shapes strategy, decisions, and outcomes.

My career has taken me across retail, technology, and entertainment, where I’ve partnered closely with executive teams to turn complex, often messy data into clear direction for the business. I’ve led enterprise analytics initiatives ranging from modern data platforms and governance to predictive models, experimentation, and executive reporting, always with the goal of making data a strategic, practical, trusted, and impactful asset for the organization.

What draws me to this work isn’t dashboards or models on their own, it’s the challenge of helping organizations execute better with data. I focus on building analytics functions that move beyond reporting and become real strategic partners to the business: supporting growth, improving operations, and enabling smarter product and customer decisions. At the same time, I care deeply about building strong teams and cultures where data practitioners feel ownership, clarity, and purpose.

My path into data has always been rooted in problem-solving. Growing up, I loved math, physics, and honestly any problem I could get my hands on (even when it wasn’t mine). That curiosity followed me through school and into my career, where I found joy in applying analytical frameworks to real-world challenges. Today, I bring that same mindset to navigating evolving technologies, AI-driven analytics, and the changing role of data leadership.

This site is a space where I share what I’ve learned along the way, thoughts on data leadership, analytics strategy, and the tools and practices shaping modern data organizations along with reflections from building and scaling analytics teams in fast-moving environments.

Outside of work, I’m a creative at heart. I paint, make my own candles (most of the art in my home is my own), and have a deep love for interior design, sustainable fashion, and mixology. One day, I’d love to launch my own mezcal line.

Originally from Cameroon, I chose Los Angeles as my home after catching glimpses of its entrepreneurial glitz and possibility on TV and never imagining how much that move would shape my journey, both professionally and personally.
